Our snow crab and shrimp fisheries have earned the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) Chain of Custody Standard Certification - the world’s leading certification for sustainable seafood.

The cold, crisp waters of the North Atlantic produce some of the highest quality seafood in the world. To produce this excellence, it isn’t enough to just be strategically located at the ocean’s edge, affording minimal catch-to-processing times. It takes commitment throughout the entire process from harvesting to processing to shipping. It requires the people at every step of the process to be committed to the cause. Quinlan facilities employ a Quality Management Program (QMP) and are Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) certified which has led to our BRC AA certification – the highest achievable grade for food safety.

The Festival of Quilts was started in 2019 with a vision to celebrate the culture, history and beauty of quilts. Quinlan is proud to support the Festival in welcoming thousands each year as a destination for quilters, travellers, and anyone who loves and appreciates a good story and a lovely quilt. The Deep Blues Seafood Festival brings together international and local chefs to celebrate the world-class seafood of our province. We are fortunate to have some of the finest seafood products in the world right at our doorstep. Quinlan is proud to celebrate what the North Atlantic has to offer, as international and local chefs reimagine dishes and share their inspiration using our seafood.
